Do you have a skill or experience that could add something special to a Ms. Lindsay’s experience?

Ms. Lindsay’s Creative Workshops is intentionally small, but I don’t do everything alone. I bring in paid, trusted people with the right skills and experience to help with specific workshops, productions, and special events.

Depending on the experience, that might mean helping participants in the kitchen during Gather & Grow, assisting with a theater production, incorporating music into an experience, helping create an interactive event, sharing an artistic or creative skill, or bringing expertise that allows me to offer something entirely new.

Skills & Experiences That May Be A Good Fit

Every workshop and production is unique, and the skills and support needed may vary. When additional expertise would enhance an experience, I may bring in someone whose talents, knowledge, or experience are a good fit.

That could include experience with:

• Theater and performance — acting, directing, costumes, sets, props, or backstage production

• Music — singing, instruments, musical direction, or helping incorporate music into a workshop or production

• Art and creative activities — visual arts, crafts, design, or other hands-on creative skills

• Cooking and culinary activities — particularly skills that could contribute to Gather & Grow or another food-centered experience

• Interactive experiences — skills that could help create mystery dinners, escape-room-style activities, games, or other immersive experiences

• Working with teens and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities

• A unique skill, hobby, or talent that could inspire an entirely new workshop or experience

How Paid Project Work Works

When I bring someone in to help with a workshop or production, it is generally as a paid, project-based independent contractor—not as a volunteer or regular employee.

I select people based on the needs of a particular experience and the skills and experience they bring. The role, responsibilities, schedule, and compensation are agreed upon before the project begins.

I’m not currently seeking additional help, but I’m always happy to connect with people whose skills, experience, or ideas might be a good fit for a future Ms. Lindsay’s workshop or production. If a need comes up that seems like a good match, I may reach out.
